Family Folklore

Rudolfo pulled his hand off her shoulder as he felt a burning sensation on his fingertips.  The lady did turn around.  Rudolfo was so frightened and shocked at what he saw he fell backwards to the ground dropping his guitar.  The lady had the face of a horse.  Rudolfo stared in disbelief as he moved backwards on his two hands.  “Madre de Dios.  Who are you?  What are you?”  The lady appeared to be much taller now.  She moved slowly towards Rudolfo.  The sounds of hooves grew louder.  Rudolfo looked down at her feet.  They weren’t feet any longer.  They were horse hooves.  Her face had a sardonic smile now displaying what seemed like a thousand large white teeth.  Rudolfo tried desperately to get to his feet.  He stumbled back on his hands.
