Lukie the Astro-Dog is a general educational science book, for all ages, based on the Planets and Asteroid Belt in our Solar System. There are information, facts on each visit throughout this journey, and along with intext questions, the answers are to be found in the text, this book is mainly written for fun so that everyone who reads it can get involved and gain knowledge of Astronomy, this is a rewarding hobby. The only equipment to start of with is your eyes, to observe the night sky, remember never look directly at the Sun with your naked eyes as this will cause permanent damage to the eyes.

About the Book
Lukie the Astro-Dog, is inspired by the authors own pet Labrador Puppy. He gets into all sorts of trouble while visiting the Planets and Asteroid belt in our Solar System. There are end of Planet questions, the answers are to be found in the text. The author hopes that everyone who reads this book will get as much enjoyment out of reading it as he did in researching and writing it. The picture below is of Lukie who enjoys the comforts of home, (as can be seen he is rather a cheeky boy, he refers to his masters as Mum and Dad)
About the Author
Tomassino Semadini was born in the Town of Middlesbrough April 1949, has Degrees in Physics, Mathematics and Astrophysics. Lukie the Astro-Dog is the third book that the author has written, Our Own Book of Science and A Scientific View which is based on his two nephews asking questions on Science while they were at school. Lukie inspired the author to write Lukie the Astro-Dog. Tomassino has retired to Spain with his wife Sheila and Lukie, after working for 17 years with BAE Systems, as a Systems Engineer. He has always had a passion for science ever since he was a schoolboy living in the East End of London. Tomassino and Sheila are often seen walking Lukie through the countryside of Spain, just South of Alicante. He believes that science should be fun and enjoyable for all ages.
