Olga Fyne is an Elementary school teacher, in the New York City Public Schools system, for over nineteen Years. She is married to the Rev. DR. Wenton Fyne, who pastors the Beulah Church of the Nazarene in Brooklyn, New York, a church with over eleven hundred people in attendance. She and her husband have three beautiful children, Kerry-Ann, Dwayne and Justin. Olga is permanently certified, with a Masters Degree from Brooklyn College, New York. She is also the holder of a permanent School District Administrator's License, with credentials from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, and a Literacy Leader’s Certificate from Teachers College, New York. Olga is a committed Christian, and presently serves as Children’s Pastor in her local church. She is expecting to complete a PHD Degree in Divinity ,from North Western Theological Seminary, in summer of 2009. Olga is passionate about children, and is deeply concerned about their academic success, especially in the areas of reading and writing .She has had tremendous success over the years, especially in the teaching of reading. Olga enjoys writing and sharing silly rhymes and stories with children, which highlight initial consonant blends. These encourage them to tell stories, develop a love of language, cultivate a positive attitude towards reading, and becoming lifelong readers. |
