Fortunately, my parents realized our peril, and we were saved from what probably would have been a disastrous situation. But what about those who are spiritually lost? Will they be able to apply the brakes in time before driving straight into the eerie, terrifying, black abyss of hell? The Redeemed of the Lord: A Call to Pray is an appeal to Christians to pray for the spiritually lost. This book describes the prayer journey of one woman who decided to do what she could for the lost by using the most powerful weapon at her disposal—prayer.
The story includes how this journey began, some of the lessons learned along the way, some of the prayer recipients, and a praise to our glorious God and Father, who is willing and able to save us all. Please, get a cup of coffee, sit in a comfortable chair, set aside an hour or two to read, and consider joining me on this prayer journey. The spiritually lost are counting on us, even if they don’t yet know it.
About the Author
Born and raised in New England, Debbie is a Northener at heart. She has always enjoyed the four seasons, and some of her fondest childhood memories are going sledding or ice skating with 'the gang.' Autumn was just as fun with treks into the woods surrounded by fall's festival of brilliant colors. Spring and summer were always enjoyable with their warm, sunny days and freedom from school.
After high school, Debbie headed south to attend a Christian college where she received a bachelor's degree in education. A master's degree in composition followed several years later.
Over the last 20 plus years, Debbie has taught writing at three different Christian colleges. The last one has been a small college in Michigan, where Debbie has taught for over 10 years.
Interspersed in the teaching career have been two mission trips. The first one was a three year stay in Hamilton, Ontario, Cananda, as part of a seven member team. The second one was a solo adventure to Vienna, Austria, where Debbie taught English classes at a small Christian English-speaking college.
Debbie is now launching a writing career. Redeemed is her first book.
