About the Book

“AMERICA”

OPEN YOUR EYES

This book was not written to be politically correct! Why? Because no one really

knows what politically correct means. We are hoping that when you read this

book, you will open your mind and think because nothing works with a closed

sign on it! As you read this book, you will be surprised as to how many people

you recognize not by name, but by personality. This book was written in such a

way that it can inspire someone to write a book themselves. Remember one idea

can and will beget other ideas. Open your mind and think. Suggestion, always

have a pad and pencil handy, write down your ideas as they come, so you don’t

trust your memory and when you see ..., put in your answer or statement in a

few words. You will be surprised as to what you have written by the time you

finish this book. Think about it. Don’t give up. Ready, start writing.

Albert J. Mathews

P.S. This book is nonfiction and an excellent book for babyboomers.

About the Author

As you read this book, you will be

amazed at what you will learn. I will

be 69 years old in February 2008 and

never in my life did I ever think about

writing a book. Well here I am just finishing.

It took me over 23 months part

time to do this book. I really believe

I was spiritually guided to write this

book at times. I was amazed even at myself.

Now on with a short but true story. I have learned a lot in life about

kin folks and friends. At my age you will find out that friends will

stand by you more than family. There is a reason for me saying this.

When I told my family I was writing a book, I was semi-laughed at

and kidded me about it. I never brought the subject up about my

book since. That was almost two years ago, but a few of my friends

said go for it. But I have this married couple that are my friends and

they asked if there was any way they could help. Over the years we

have been close and have a lot of respect for each other. So, your

friends especially your close friends, never lose touch with them. As

you grow older you will not regret it. There is a lot of good stuff in

this book and according to how you think there might be some bad

stuff in this book and according to the facts there is.
