Damned these words that flow from this pen.
Relentless is my attempt for it to be something more;
Than yet another mutated thought of you.
Wonder my soul all the dark hours searching for a medium to release this poison.
Haunt me if I dare to close my eyes;
Nor do I wish to wake with this guilt.
Kiss me upon the cheek you shall say;
Though he's only in the other chamber.
Whisper my beauty so softly as you pass me by.
Allow me to bare the shame to all the room so you may love me.
Yet you shall hide behind your charm and wit.
How often do you visit your pain?
Have not a soul mate alive within my body?
With only God to help me;
Breath your deception upon my innocence;
Though I've none left.

About the Book
Silkworm is an eclectic mix of poetry with characters ranging from the innocence of a small, delayed child to the crime scene of a serial murder. Inside there are words arranged poetically to describe the intense love one feels for another. It is then also for those who have felt the pain of loosing someone of great importance in their life. There are poems written about the triumph of the people in our world labeled outcasts as well as the journey through lack of desire for life and celebration of loving it again.
As many Silkworms that it takes to make a single garment is as many words as I have shared with all of you...
About the Author
I have been a writer since I was able to transfer my thoughts to pen and then to paper. As the story goes, I am told it was actually a crayon that the first book was written. I was 6 years old. I have never stopped writing because I am unable to . It is more than something I do, it is who I am. It will be a great honor to have those beyond my personal reach to lay their eyes upon my words. I am grateful. I do not credit any college classes or previous recognition for anything I have written. Everything is written by inspiration and in my own style, my own way.
It is my honor to give a greater light to my first book while I am currently working on my next two.
I have 4 children, 2 large dog/children, and my 8 mortals trapped in feline bodies. I am married to Prince Charming and I live in Maryland. :)
