The Strength Inside of You
Keeping my faith and destroying my hate
is an unconditional fact to keep
my spiritual blessings intact,
because my faith is vital
to the state of my emotions.
It is clear to me like water is
to the fish that dwells in the ocean,
because there is a mental block
when you practice faith
but you are thinking hate.
It shuts off your positives and
locks your blessings behind a gate,
because hate is a feeling that destroys
positive’s healing while faith
can restore bringing you love
and so much more, but it is a
personal journey that no one else can travel.
So, it is up to you to delete your hate and
enhance your faith if you want your blessing
to flow freely through that gate,
and, personally speaking,
my faith will be keeping
because I’ll be no longer seeking,
but absolutely sure that the blessings
from my faith will forever endure.

About the Author
As former juvenile delinquents and gang members, in my opinion, Donovan Simmons and Terry Moses could not have come up with a better project to enlighten today’s youth. This book gives first-hand accounts of what gang life can do to a person, community, and loved ones. These men have demonstrated a very strong alliance, which has motivated other gang members to step forward in the battle to save our youth from self-destructing. I have spent great lengths of time with them and, in my opinion, their sincerity is authentic.
