Love without Shame

The Novel depicts the life of a severely handicapped woman. The circumstances that threw her in the arms of neighbors. She eventually bore a daughter, after the demise of her husband, as she succumbed to abuses and sexual relations from drunks in her neighborhood.

The girl, from an early age, rose out of the ashes of poverty; like her mother, to become a prostitute, graduating into the big times to be a high class madam. She possessed skills that drafted the most affluent into her clutches, emerging undeniably, the shrewdest young woman in an already crowded and competitive business.

The story may seem at times to dramatize, or even glamorize prostitution as a solution, but in reality it is a conscious effort to show, why some women resort to trading with their bodies; as men are not always able to see beyond sex.

In the beginning, the woman fell prey to a pimp, whom she eluded, taking with her one of his girls, to pursue her higher ambitions. Together they formed a call-girl organization, only to have to run to a Caribbean Island to escape the mob.

She found love from a childhood friend, who gave up his Evangelical Mission to find her, and after an accidental run-in they met, but by this time she had had several sexual encounters with her female companion, along the way. However, this did not deter a torid relationship between the three, in the end.

The Author's writings reek with suspense, love, sex and vices that permeate innocence, loneliness and weakness, with experiences deliberately planned to capture your attention and imagination.
