About the Author
Barbara Gail Kimberlin-Murphy is currently a resident of Shawnee, Kansas, a Kansas suburb of the Kansas City area. She was born and raised in Jefferson City, Missouri, and moved with her family to the Kansas City area while in her teens. She went on to graduate from F.L. Schlagle High School in 1979 with honors and attended several universities in the Kansas City area studying finance and economics while working for the past 27 years in the Kansas City medical community. She is a 47 year-old- housewife, married to Lawrence Murphy for over 11 years. Together, they have a son, Joey Murphy, who is 9 years old. Her father passed away from cancer when he was 53 years old in 1981, which gave Barbara the desire to spend her life in the health care community. Her mother still lives in the Kansas City area and her 3 siblings live outside of the Kansas City area. This is Barbara's first book she has written since she started her 27-year-journey in the Kansas City healthcare community shortly after her father passed away in 1981.
