To provide faith-based opportunities for youth to grow socially, academically, artistically, and culturally.
To provide experiences for youth to gain ownership by helping them develop skills for exceptional leadership and healthy decision-making.
To provide positive role models to encourage and impact our future leaders so that they may reach their greatest potential in this 21st Century of believers.
YOUTH MINISTRY
Youth Ministry plays an invaluable part in the Church ministry. There are several ministries, or categories, within the youth ministry. The Board of Directors will plan and set up the different ministries within the Youth Ministry Department. First of all, a youth director is appointed by the pastor and the board of directors. This individual should have a serious background in the ministry and have a great love for children. Let me say that again. This individual should have a great love for the children.
When dealing with a youth ministry, there must be committed people working in this department. A lot of times, people get into a ministry for the recognition and not necessarily to help the youth. They soon find out that it’s really not for them. The Word of God says test the spirit by the spirit. 1 John 4:1 – “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.” Matthew 7:24 – Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock.
Use wise judgment on selecting a youth director and youth workers. Never take anyone for granted; hear what he/she says and hear what he/she is not saying. In other words, leaders sharpen your discernment. The youth director must be led by the Spirit of God; and you will see your youth ministry prosper like never before.

About the Author
Connita Lee, the daughter of Marguerite E. Lee and the late Jesse J. Lee of Chicago, Illinois, is the seventh child of ten children. She is mother to her adopted son by faith Dennis E. Craig and the grandmother of two beautiful grandchildren: Dennis Keyon and Kayla Denise Craig. She lived in Illinois and has always wanted to be a missionary to the nations.
Connita Lee travel to Europe for a month in 1988, visiting many nations before the call came to go and be a servant in Honduras and Africa. She is an Ordained Presbytery Elder at The House of Prayer For All Nations Ministries, Cell Group Leader, Director over Youth Ministry and she was an Overseer of Intercessors and Deliverance Ministry, and much more.
Elder Lee’s calling is to impact and equip both our youth and the young at heart. She realizes the responsibility and purpose of training the next generation to walk in the destiny and calling that God has already prepared for their lives. She has a great concern to develop a strategy to keep the youth involved in our churches today.
She is a Spiritual mom to many, even those who she has met around the world. A woman of destiny and purpose, she only wants to fulfill the call to love God’s people unconditionally and walk in obedience according to His word. Her name Connie or Connita means “Faithful” and she knows without a shadow of doubt that God has truly been to FAITHFUL in her life.
