Making a Splash

     Hello, my name is Splash. This book is narrated by me. It is a true story about my life. It would be my autobiography if I only knew how to write. 

       Here are a few bits from my book.

     When I was a pup I remember trying to get a drink of water when all of a sudden I fell into a pool of icy cold water.  I was cold, wet and scared.  I cried out for help just as loud as I could.  It was a very dark and cold evening as I thought to myself that I was doomed for sure.

       I was too small to reach the ledge to pull my self out.  I thought I was going under for the last time when these loving hands scooped me up and out of the water.  

       I believe that everyone in the world must be here for only one reason. Me. I can’t believe that everyone and everything doesn’t want to play with me all the time.  I am determined that if you do not want to play with me that some how I will find a way to make you.

     As a pup, I liked to chew.  I chewed up Jake’s bed, my bed, my parent’s bed, the couch, the outside furniture cushions, the hot tub and anything else that I got a hold of.  

     Jake liked to go off and explore. He could not be easily contained.  If he wanted to get out he would dig out. A couple of times he got a ride from the local Dog Catcher to the pound and Mommy and Daddy would have to go bail him out.  The Dog Catcher told them that Jake was such a gentle and friendly dog that when she opened the truck door, Jake jumped in beside her.
