outside the pen pot, something spooky is going on,”
trembled Greg the Glue stick to Ronald.

when Ronald the Ruler looked out, he said…
“It’s
only Halloween.”
“Halloween!” cried the Pen Pot Pals, even the
word terrified them.
Greg
the Glue stick still had his eyes shut as he was too frightened to look out.
But
then, Ronald the Ruler played a mean trick on Greg,
“Boo!” shouted Ronald the
Ruler.

Poor
Greg the Glue stick nearly jumped out of his stick.
“That
was not a very nice thing to do,” said Penny the Paintbrush to Ronald the
Ruler,

About the Book
Adventures of the Pen Pot Pals is about fun new colourful characters that live in a pen pot on Miss Higgins table and each story is based on a pen pot pal's adventure around the classroom.
Inside this book, Greg the Gluestick experiences his first Halloween party, Whinnie the Whistle competes in the annual sports day, Shaun the Sharpener has to rescue the old pencils and crayons and Penny the Paintbrush gets lost on the school trip and its up to the rest of the Pen Pot Pals to rescue her.
These stories can be used to prepare pre-school children for the classroom environment, as well as improving children's communication, language and literacy skills.
About the Author
Charlotte Hilton was born in Blackburn on the 15th May in 1983.
At the age of 8, Charlotte and her brother Gary, aged 11, created characters based on stationary items, Charlotte wrote some stories whilst Gary illustrated them. It was not untill Charlotte was 23 years old when she decided to re-create these characters with Gary and finally get the stories published.
Adventures of the Pen Pot Pals is Charlotte's first published book but she plans to write about the Pendle witches for children which will be based on true tales.
Charlotte now lives in Ireland and she also plans to write children's stories based on Irish folk stories.
