AN EXCUSE FOR RACISM
Now day’s people seem to have an excuse for just about everything. They call the misdeeds of others illnesses in an attempt to excuse their misdeeds. Tell me, what is the excuse for racism?
As children we are taught what to believe, how to act and react by parents and those around us. As we age wisdom should take over, seeing that we become responsible for our actions, reactions and beliefs.

LYING LIPS AND QUIVERING HIPS
Lying lips and quivering hips have much in common. Both will do whatever it takes to gain what they want. Lying lips and quivering hips ruin families, nations and chances for a better future. While lying lips give orders that shape and reshape the lives of those they were set to protect, quivering hips commit acts that shape and reshape the lives of those they promised to love, cherish, honor and protect.

About the Book
"Views of You In Shaded Hues - A Place Between Black and White," was written to enlighten the gullible, awaken the godly and call to action those set to be the watchers of America.
As a people, most of us have become lax in our duties to God, our children and this nation. Wealth building has become a number one priority and not Christian and family values. As individual’s greed escalates along with their need for power, everything good is on the decline. Even many religious leaders have fallen asleep at the helm, as they focus on money and positions of power.
It is time for the watchers to go into action and stop pretending they don’t know that our nation is at war from within as well as without. We must hold our nation’s leaders, corporations and individuals, accountable for their lies, price gouging and the deceptive practices of power authorities. This must include those who have benefited financially from the
This decay of our nation has occurred on our watch, therefore it is our responsibility to fight for and restore this great nation to her former glory. We must put the old guard, their archaic, dogmatic and divisive beliefs to rest. It is time to elect leaders who will listen to the voices of the people and work to strengthen all people, thereby strengthening our nation. Tick tock, tick tock, it’s time for a reality check. Tick tock, tick tock, our children, other nations and God is watching us.
About the Author
Alice Beatrice Nixon was born February 23, 1951 to Laura and Samuel Nixon of Montgomery, Alabama. She is the youngest of four children. She is an ordinary woman that has been called by God to an extraordinary task. Alice believes that her life is by design and not accident. She participated in the Freedom Marches of the 60’s at approximately age 12. She has worked such positions as electromechanical/Electronic Assembler for such Aerospace/Electronic corporations as Vicon, Hazeltine and Grumman’s Aerospace. She Interned at Brookhaven National Lab, Alice has guest lectured at such places as Hofstra University, Hempstead/Uniondale, New York and St. John’s University in Queens, NY. She has presented as a poet in places from Southold to Albany, New York. She appears upon invitation and is also known to simply pop up. Sometimes she presents to friends who are being honored, provide poems of comfort to families at funerals and even present to the likes of Paul Rusesabagina of the movie “Hotel Rawanda” and Rubin Carter of the movie “The Hurricane.” She knows what it is to be considered a have and a have not. She has been strengthened by adversity and learned how to pull herself up through God that she may achieve in-spite of hardship and instead of rolling over and dying. She is the author of "The Up Side Of Down," published in 2006. Even downs have an up side.
