About the Book

This DINO-ALPHABET WORD BOOK is a playful way to teach children one word that begins each letter of the alphabet. Children are so excited by dinosaurs and should love the colorful and imaginary dinosaurs and word pictures. This book is written in rhyming format and will encourage a rthymic and happy way to promote learning the alphabet and a picture word for each letter. Learning is fun and is a goal promoted by the author, Linda J. Woods. 

About the Author

Linda J. Woods is a veteran teacher of 38 years. She was chairperson of the Young Author Program at her last school where she taught for 19 years, in Sacramento, California. She encourages students to write their own books and feel the pride and accomplishment of becoming an author.  She retired in 2007 and is now writing children's picture books. Her teaching career was a  passionate journey in helping children find an excitement  for  learning. Her young grandchildren encouraged the writing of this book due to the many hours of engagement in  reading and talking about dinosaurs. She promotes the love for  learning  and helps children become self-motivated about daily learning adventures, as well as future learning possibilities. She  published three other books in the year prior to her retirement..."The Story of Child, Pebble and Friend", "The Gift of the Jumping Goldfish", and "I Don't Even Like Frogs That Much".  She is available for school presentations and writing workshops for students in grades K - 6.  Contact: woodsroom11@yahoo.com
