About the Book

Journey with Stanley as he seeks to remove the "junk" from his life--not just in the literal sense of removing physical clutter, but from the spiritual aspect of the trash that would hinder a godly walk with the Lord.

His conversion leads to his approaching life with a sense of wanting to live in such a way as to glorify his Creator. His adventures and those of the people around him challenge him to step away from his previous measures of decision making and encompass a faithful working of God's will for these situations. From "climbing" to a higher spiritual worth to reminiscing on a meaningful relationship, a year of Stanley's life is filled with jaunts down the road to living life as God would have His children to do.

About the Author

After being born on July 12, 1979, in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, to the union of Goldy L. McKnight and Tammye McKnight (Hawkins) of Murfreesboro and Nashville, Tennessee, respectively, Tanae Cheron McKnight Murdic was already well on her way to soaring to exciting heights. Her father's active status in the military afforded the family the opportunity to experience other cultures and gain insight into other ways of living beyond Tennessee's borders.

Tanae McKnight Murdic graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism. She has since gone on to work for the Sunday School Publishing Board of Nashville, Tennessee--an experience she credits for honing her skills as a writer and editor. She also credits her love of creative writing as a youth with giving her an outlet to put her imagination to work.

The oldest of five, Murdic counts it an honor to blaze the trail for her younger siblings in bringing dreams and aspirations to fruition. She also wishes to recognize her husband, Nicholas Murdic, for pushing her to achieve what he knows she is well capable of. She hopes that her realizing her dreams and pursuing them will inspire others to do the same.
