PROLOGUE
The audience clapped loudly and rose to their feet as Danielle walked out from behind the huge cameras. She glanced back and blew a kiss to Jermesa. Jermesa beamed with excitement, her small fist up to her mouth trying not to make a sound. Her long curly locks hung loosely on her shoulders. She was so excited being in the mist of all the commotion of the appearance of Danielle on the top television talk show. Danielle was elated by the enthusiasm of the audience; everyone stayed standing till Danielle took her seat. Silence came over the studio. The host smiled and tilted her head in admiration of her beautiful, young, successful guest.
“Danielle Daniels, I have one question. Why isn’t a girl like you married?” The host asked.
“Well, it’s hard to hit a moving target.”
The crowd chuckled.
“Yes, I guess it would be, for those who don’t know but I doubt it. You have Shelters in almost every state; I would imagine you’re all over the place. You have been on the cover of all the major magazines, Time, Fortune and on every talk show! Tell everyone here about why you even wanted to run a Shelter, where did that idea come from?”
“It wasn’t an idea at all; it was what I saw, breathed and lived for the first twelve years of my life.” Danielle said passionately.

“That was pretty generous of your mother. And now the Shelter is named in memory of her, the Elizabeth Daniels Shelter. How did your mother die?”
Danielle looked down and squirmed in her chair at the thought of speaking about something that she never spoke about even with her father. Danielle knew that this host was the best in the field and had a way of getting things out of people. Danielle collected herself and smiled softly.
“You know, it’s not about how she died as it is about how she lived. That’s what I’m here to do to continue where she left off, to keep her dream alive.”
“But, Danielle that was your mother’s dream.”
“She lives within me, so it’s my dream too.” Danielle responded.
The host sat back to analyze Danielle with a new interest.
“You know, I’m wondering who Danielle would have been if your mother was still alive.”
Danielle near a tear, “A happier Danielle.” She smiled determined not to break down on national television in front of millions of people. “Having Shelter’s around the world is something that
The audience clapped and cheered.
The host smiled in admiration, “I can’t top that one.” The crowd clapped louder. “Now, Danielle your life became even more interesting when you married the man who not only named the Shelter after your mother but owned the Shelter first.”
“Yes, I was very intrigued by him and I was still quite young and you know how that is.” Danielle said.
“But, isn’t it true that when the divorce was final he didn’t give you the Shelter, how did you get it? What happened?”
She said sheepishly, “He changed his mind.”

Originally from
D’Bora’s background has been in entertainment. She first dabbled in music creating a CD of spoken word and writing songs. From there she worked at movie studios such as;
Her love for writing started at an early age creating poems, then songs, songs to short stories then spec scripts for the shows, “For Your Love”, “Smart Guy” and Everybody Loves Raymond”. She then was accepted into the UCLA Writing Program accomplishing Fiction and Screenwriting. She completed several movies scripts and two stage plays, “Can I Get A Raise” and “It’s Getting Hot In Here”. But, her real goal and long time dream was to write a book. Then “Out of Control” was created and sold many copies and now the demand for the second book of this intriguing trilogy, “Out of Control Too” is completed.
She is currently working on the third book of the trilogy entitled; “Destiny” subtitled “You can’t control Destiny”. This book is a more adventurous journey taking the readers into new undiscovered parts of the world and it’s people, surroundings and culture. Dealing with challenges of the unknown, life and death issues and survival. Not without the elements of love gained and lost, moral dilemma and the affects of making the wrong decisions and rejoicing the right ones, that takes us to our destiny. The characters will make you love and cheer for them and even cry. It will depict every aspects of something everyone has, feelings.
