As Rhonda was returning to the living room, she overheard Dr. Gomez ask Ted, "Can I do something to help you?"
Ted growled, "I think you've done enough."
Dr. Gomez looked puzzled. "I'm afraid I don't understand."
Ted lunged and grabbed the doctor by his lapels. He snarled, "Did you think I didn't see you flirting with my wife? When I'm through with you..."
Before Ted could finish his sentence, a muscular arm hooked around his neck and yanked him back. Ted was spun around and pressed up against the wall. He found himself standing eye to eye with Rhonda's handsome neighbor, Jason Valores, who'd been watching him.
Valores' voice was like steel. "It's time for you to go home. And I mean NOW!"
Before anything else could be said, Pastor Felipe Lopez walked over to Ted, took his arm, and said in a low voice, "Be careful. That's the Director of Police Security for the state of Guanajuato. Let's go before you're hauled out in handcuffs."

About the Author
Ruthie Wornall, a former history teacher, has written a series of seventeen "Three Ingredient Cookbooks." She writes a weekly newspaper food column for the Weston Chronicle, Weston, Missouri, and owns a publishing company and mail order business. This is the third culinary murder mystery of the series. She lives in Overland Park, Kansas, with her husband and two poodles. They have two children and three grandchildren. Over the years, Ruthie and Jim have enjoyed several vacations in the beautiful silver-mining city of Guanajuato, Mexico, where this novel takes place.
