About the Book

Alex B. McGinty is a wise and fun-loving Scottish Terrier with many friends and even more fun adventures!  In his debut story, Alex discovers that his newest friend and neighbor, Maris the Beagle puppy, has never seen a parade!  A lively bunch of dogs and kids work together to solve this dilemma, reminiscing about past parades and creating an exciting event for everyone.  You will love the always-charming Alex B. About the Author

Jill is currently a graduate student pursuing Certification/MAT to teach high school Spanish.  She is a proud graduate of the University of Illinois and was fortunate to work for the St. Louis Cardinals for several years before making this career change.  Jill and her dogs reside in St. Louis where many friends, family members, and dog-friends provide inspiration for the Alex B. McGinty series.  There are plenty of stories and interesting characters to come, including the soulful MacGregor and the bubbly Bella! Each book in the series will contribute a portion of proceeds to different animal or children’s charitable organizations and all books will help provide donations to Scottish Terrier Rescue.
