About the Author
Lisa Stukel is a graduate from Michigan State University and
lives in Massachusettts with her husband and two children . Before
children, Lisa worked as a pharmaceutical sales representative for ten
years, traveling all over the state. After her two children were born,
eighteen months apart, Lisa decided it was time to get off the road to
explore a second career as a freelance writer.
For four years, Lisa provided freelance articles for her
local hometown newspaper , " The Hopkinton Independent," writing
about local businesses and events. She has also published several
articles relating to motherhood in the local, paper version of "
Today's Parent." Entitled," Two Children in Diapers....How I
survived our first year," " Traveling with two in Diapers,"
and "Mom's weekend Away...A Necessary Thing."
The idea to write A Busy Mom's Guide to Entertaining was born from
attending and hosting many social gatherings throughout the years
while raising her two children.
