Thirty-eight-year-old aeronautics consultant, Doctor Ron Jafray, stood in the slurry—a mixture of water and ashes. He stared up at the erect, brick chimney, now alone, without walls. Just a few days ago, it had warmed the old Victorian. Ironic, he thought, that the old Victorian ended up warming the chimney. Jafray shook his head, and muttered under his breath, “Damn!
