About the Book
The independent reviews of the book are all good or excellent so far since Jan 14 to June 18, 2009. The readers and reviewers really liked it a lot. The first 40 pages are stories about my life growing to manhood. It was a very exciting one and written in a fun way. Then I tell about my experiences with politics, service, Abbie Hoffman and the civic groups, James Hoffa, plus a myriad of others who you probably heard of yourself. Every word in this book is true and I have over 2,000 newspaper clippings and pictures to back that up. Even the Second world war was written up less in the local papers and including the Phila. About the Author
Robert A. Flowers is a former resident of Bucks County Pa, where he owned and operated a nursery/landscape business, and also served as the Executive Director of The Neshaminy Water Resources, where he fought against self-serving politicians and The Del-Aware civic group with their hired leader “Abbie Hoffman” for years through the 1980’s, to bring about a safer water supply system for the citizens of Bucks and Montgomery County. Many thousands of citizens desperately needed it and were drinking poor public waters. Flowers was a rare altruistic dedicated public official and always served the public’s best interest. Additionally Flowers was allied with “The ‘Jimmie Hoffa’ fighter”, D. J. Sullivan and our federal government. He writes some interesting stories about that, before and after “Hoffa’s” disappearance. This book is true from cover to cover and contains “Abbie Hoffman” and “James Hoffa” true stories that you should know and probably never have heard before.
