Francis Charlton described by those that know him as 'Byronic, ironic, iconic, demonic, and not a little moronic,' and those that don't as 'Who?' is an artist and poet who has exhibeted widely in both solo and group shows. He is currently working on a series of pictures using found photographic material in a departure from his usual  politically influenced work, which will go on show Spring 09. He was recently quoted as saying when asked about the state of contemporary political discourse " I can eat anything, but I can't swallow this nonsense!"
