you would know that a Skurtle is a skunk and a turtle.
Now a Skurtle alone adds only to 1,
and only 1 Skurtle is not much fun.
I suppose you also don't know of a Snird.
Well silly, that's nothing but a snail and a bird.
If a Snird met a Skurtle that would be new.
1 Snird and 1 Skurtle add up to be 2.

Silly Critters is a novel way to learn to count. Using these odd animals stimulates the imagination and at the same time provides a learning tool.
About the Author
I have always put myself in a position to write, from volunteering to write newsletters for organizations I belonged to as well as writing short stories or articles requested by friends and associates.
This book came about the night I dreamt about a Pabbit and a Snird etc. I woke up and immediately wrote this dream down so I would not forget it. The book followed. Actually, you could say I'm following my "dream".
Children have always held a special place in my heart. I coached my sons' baseball teams for fourteen years and am currently involved with Special Olympics for kids, and have been for years.
I love kids and I love writing. A natural match.
