A Conversation With God
One day I wondered, why am I here?
What is my purpose?
What is my plan?
I got down on my knees, and asked GOD the same,
First going to him in Jesus Name,
I said “Father GOD, I just don’t know, I just don’t understand
Why in this life, I was dealt this hand.
Why is my life such a struggle,
Why so much pain,
Oh Father GOD,
I just don’t understand.”
As I begin to rise from my knees,
I heard a whisper, I felt a light breeze,
A voice begin to speak, such a commanding tone,
I fell back down, with a shiver to my bones...

Life Is Like A Deck of Cards...
You don’t deal with the hand that you were dealt, it's all in how you Play with the hand you were dealt. Optimal words “Deal” and “Play”. If you deal with it, you may never win, never overcome, never achieve higher levels. But if you play, you will lose some, you will win some, therefore you become a Player of life and not live a life whereby you are Played.

About the Author
A Published author, Chicago native and artistic Pisces, Poetic Flow™ first began writing poetry in 1985 and since then she has written volumes of poems, participated in Open Mic Poetry/Spoken Word events, appeared as a guest poet on various radio shows, and allowed her poems to be used for weddings, birthday celebrations, invitations, greeting cards, home-goings, and so on. Her poetry captures the essence of everyday life, situations, circumstances, faith, spirituality, encouragement, motivation and more. She is inspired to write by the universe (i.e. people, family, friends, strangers, feelings, thoughts, etc.) Her first book of poems "Poetic Flow: Poetry For Your Soul" was published in May 2008. Be on the lookout for her 2nd book of poetry "Love~N~Life" and her 1st book of positive quotes "Positive Vibes by Poetic Flow™" due for release in 2013.
