About the Author
Born in Malta during the seige March 1942 of British parents. Returned to Glasgow, Scotland, home of father 1944.
Bad health sustained through continual bombing and malnutrition in Malta forced a move to southern England in 1948.
Although passed the 11+ examination, true education did not start until apprenticed on Monotype in 1957. College education continued (mostly part-time) until the 90's. College teacher early 60's on Monotype and related subjects.
A new career in the world of Insurance started in 1969 with the purchase of a CIS "book". 1972-1977: Inspector with Equity & Law. 1978-1987: Inspector (then Manager) with Scottish Mutual. 1987-present: Running a small IFA practice.
