Imagine our world as a giant chessboard, and life as a chess game. We all are players in the game, trying to consider the right move that will ultimately result in life’s triumph. The major players are the King (man), the Queen (woman) and the Bishop which represents the (church). The other players are the King’s soldiers. The Bishop and the Castle (home) is a strong combination that works together to establish a safe kingdom for the King and Queen. All players must defend the King, because his surrender means the loss of the kingdom. The woman, who represents the Queen, is the power behind the throne, and she can move any distance to protect the King. Although the Queen is challenged to defend the King, she must develop a retreat plan to also protect him from the opponent. The Queen has many places she can move to defend and protect her Castle, but she is strategically positioned next to the King to effectively demonstrate her power. The ultimate lesson in the game of chess is not how to win, but knowing what strategies to use to win. A woman should be in a place to preserve and shield the kings authority, without placing him in a state of checkmate.

This book is designed to raise awareness and to challenge women to learn the value of their place and understand that a woman in her position has power in her place. After walking in this knowledge God will honor her prayers and anoint her household.
About the Author
Dr. Tyler has completed a Doctorate of Philosophy in Clinical Christian Counseling. She is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC) She has a non-profit organization called My Sister’s Keeper, and she is the founder and facilitator of the support/discussion group called “Focused Women.” Dr. Tyler is licensed clinical counselor that has advanced certification to administer temperament theory/therapy. She has been counseling since 1989 in her center called CitiCounseling, Inc. in Dr. Tyler is licensed by the National Christian Counselors Association (N.C.C.A) and holds credentials with the Jacksonville Theological Seminary.
