This is a collaboration of poetry that reflects my life during my dark times and the transformation from the basment of depression to the attic of hope which leads to more exciting and happy poetic works.


About the Author

            Jerome Spencer Hackworth was born on June 13, 1979 in Memphis, TN.  Jerome attended Whitehaven High School were he held certain positions as; Program Chairperson of the Student Council Committee, 1st Chair Trumpet Player in the Marching Band, Color Guard Commander of the J.R.O.T.C., and The Mademoiselle and Esquire Club of Memphis.  Jerome also attended Remington College were he received his A.A.S. Computer Networking Technology.  Mr. Hackworth has written poems ever since he was a teenager and have several poetic works located on websites such as; www.poetry.com, www.mrafrica.com and many others.  Jerome believes that his poetry was a gift sent to him for the intention of inspiring, motivating and uplifting everyone who reads.  Jerome S. Hackworth is a true poet of our time.
