As words quickly began to form on the page in colors of black, blue, red, pink or brown
Words awaken with the swift stroke of my pen
Clearing my heart, my head, my emotions, my soul
The page reflects gathered thoughts and feelings eloquently, strangely, sadly, strongly, thought out, rough and in raw form
I write what is dared not said out loud
Dumping good bad or indifferent onto every page
Feelings of helplessness, cries for help, vindication, redemption, amusement, satisfaction, and idealistic calculations all simultaneously spill over

Alura T. Jefferies is a married mother of one. She is currently employed as a Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition counselor. She also works part time as a Licensed Hair Designer. She is a native of
Alura has had a passion for writing from as earliest as she can remember. Growing up, she took a liking to writing short stories, songs, poetry and Rhymes. Her favorite, done with her late Bigmomma, (Grandmother) is spoken word. She hopes to encourage and inspire other writers to make a record of their thoughts and to share them with the world. She was once asked by a close friend, what was the one thing in life that she would do for free? Her answer was writing because it truly is her passion.
