About the Book

Tika would never forget her detrimental childhood experiences that led up to an early adulthood filled with much contention, an inability to forgive, for this reason, a multitude of misery trails. Her young adult life was spent boxing boundless inconsistencies, for a long time she felt defeated.  One day as she frustratingly awaits her bus after work, an elderly woman abruptly approaches her insisting that she engages in a bizarre ritual. At first, she thought the woman was out of her mind, thus Tika continued on as if she’d never existed. As much as she wanted to forget, there was a disturbing illness lurking.  The infirmity disallowed her to proceed and no matter where she turned, the elderly woman’s voice resonated, “For years, the serpent has danced in your belly and you continue to feed him.” Tika had no idea of an invisible interception taking place. Eventually, she had no choice.  She was brought to the realization that it was never just about her, but a far greater challenge that would soon be discovered after she was introduced to her new business associate, Desiree Simmons.

Sheniqua L. Wallace is an influential author who promotes healing and growth by way of her artistic literary. She has been writing all of her life, her first book What In Hell Do You Want was published in 2007. She currently resides in Miami, FL
