About the Author

Helyn Symons Wisner lived on Bald Head Island for four years with her daughter, Ali; her husband, Jim; and their dog and cat, Victor and Rainbow.  They now live nearby in the town of Wilmington, North Carolina.  Summers and many weekends are still spent on the shores of Bald Head.
