About the Book

Greetings! This book is filled with "hearty" poetry that anyone, anywhere in any place in life can relate to! There is something for everyone to read, share and read again! This is a book that once you open it up you will not be able to put it down. Every emotion that we all feel is written about on these pages without any judgement or condemnation - let's face it - emotions are real. This book is meant to do just as the title says, it is meant to expose emotions and to teach people how to handle them. My prayer is that everyone who reads this book will laugh, cry, smile and have heavy burdens lifted off of them so that the joy of life may come upon them now and forever more!

Warning to all readers! Some of these poems may be too real or too deep for the traditional religious people, but how can you help someone if you do not allow them to be real with you? How can you get the help that you need if you don’t be real with yourself? How will you know what to pray for or how to pray if you are not prepared for exposed emotions?

Enjoy and thanks for reading Exposed Emotions.

About the Author

Patricia Hamilton grew up in Harlem, New York and lived in the Bronx for a few years. She had been writing since about the age of nine. Mostly poetry, songs and skits that she and her younger brother use to perform for their parents. Even though she did not grow up in a Christian home, she now realizes that it was the Lord who sent different people into her life to share the Gospel. As a child Patricia remembers the people of the Salvation Army taking the neighborhood children on trips, holding Bible study groups and marching the streets until they reached the corners where the drug addicts were nodding to proclaim the Word of God. As a child Patricia would pray to God when her parents and other family members could not see or hear her and God always answered. Patricia knew that she needed to pick up her dreams, gifts and talents and use them to the glory of God. That along with the idea of not using her talent and being asked about them when she stands before the Lord was the greatest motivator for writing and sharing it with others. So she went into her closet, pulled out those bags full of material that she has been hiding and today she is an author. That one act was the inspiration for all the other things that Patricia "RevLady" Hamilton is now doing! God can and will restore the time lost. Her quote for herself and others: "If you think that you are too old or that it is too late to do what you have been born to do - then stop living"
