About the Author
Melissa is a graduate from the Institute for Children's Literature in 2001. Her first interest is poetry and prose. She has first written poetry at ten years of age. And she has been published in The Cobourg Daily Star, The Toronto Star, Poetry com. in the U.S. and in Europe. She has taught drama, script writing, creative writing at a local arts dance acedemy and the start of their pilot project and it was well recieved and very successful. And she enjoys teaching children how to learn with creative arts, creative writing and reading. And she loves to write children's books.
