Although born on the rough side of town, the young Jimbo Henderson carries the mantle of his musical grandfather and appears to push aside the many temptations that present themselves to him. He follows instead this inherited love of music, together with a passion for fishing in the river near his home. Though sensitive and caring, he is a naive young man who finds himself caught up in a web of deceit and dishonour.
The officers of Mackleston and its neighbouring division come under intense pressure with more than their fair share of serious crime. Harry Gillians and Dick Smithson, ex police officers and insurance investigators arrive to render their assistance. They know only too well the weight of the load being carried by the serving police officers. During enquiries concerning Henderson's possible involvement in a major crime, for Gillians in particular the disclosures that unravel are far more than he could ever have expected.

About the Author
A retired police officer, Roy Henry lives in the border country of North Wales where he was born. When not writing he enjoys fly-fishing. " Two Lives from Two Rivers " is his first novel.
His writing career was kickstarted when he was awarded a book prize in Primary school for an essay about the "Conquest of Everest." Going on to write poetry and selling short stories to magazines, this, his first novel draws upon his 'real life' experiences when he worked as an insurance investigator.
