THEY HAD TO DEAL NOT WITH EARTH, WOOD AND STONE, BUT WITH MEN AND, BY EVERY REGARD, THEY HAD FOR THEIR OWN SAFETY AND PROSPERITY THEY NEEDED TO KNOW THE MATERIAL ON WHICH THEY WERE TO WORK, CONSCIOUS OF THE INJUSTICE AND WRONG THEY WERE EVERY HOUR PERPETUATING AND KNOWING WHAT THEY THEMSELVES WOULD DO. THE SLAVE OWNERS WERE ACTUALLY AFRAID OF THE SLAVES BECAUSE THEY WOULD PUT THEMSELVES IN THE SLAVES PLACE. IF THEY WE VICTIMS OF SUCH WRONGS THEY KNEW AS A HUMAN BEING IN HIS NATURE STATE WHAT HE WOULD DO. THEY WERE CONSTANTLY LOOKING FOR THE FIRST SIGNS OF THE DREADED RETRIBUTION.

About the Author
I have always been extremely interested in history. She began studying black history in 1965 when her brother Levi Beasley (deceased) ordered a Ebony Black History Collections. As I grew up in life I read a statement someone Jewish wrote, "Always remember your past lest it will repeat itself". I hold this very dear in my heart. I now live in North Lauderdale, Florida, where I am a nobody trying to tell everybody how to make a difference. I volunteer my time in helping to take care of a very good friend of mine that is wheelchair and home bound.
