About the Book

Heaven's most glamorous star, the brilliant Star of Bethlehem, was dismayed because God made him different from all the other stars. He was unconfortable being different and wanted to be an ordinary star. When he realized that he had been created for a special purpose, he was so proud. He liked being the center of attention and having everyone notice his beauty. But during his mission on Earth, he learned many lessons. As his bright light illuminated the place where the Baby Jesus lay, he figured out that the plan of salvation was not about him but included countless others who were also chosen to fulfill an important part of God's plan. Mary and Joseph and the Baby Jesus, the humble shepherds, the three wise men and the glorious angels were also created just the way they needed to be in order to set the plan of salvation into motion. The star realized that each of God's creations are created with a special purpose in mind. Being unique is what makes you able to fulfill your divine purpose.

About the Author

I accepted Jesus as my Savior when I was only five years old. As a young Christian, I wanted to be just like my friends and kids my own age, but I was different inside. Standing firm in my moral beliefs and holding tightly to the spiritual heritage I cherished, I didn't always fit in. I believe God creates each person for a specific purpose and equips each one with the tools they need to accomplish their mission in life. It is not only all right to be different but it is necessary to be different in order to be successful in our spiritual calling. I am the mother of four children and have two wonderful grandchildren. I started writing Created For A Purpose when my children were very young and did not complete the manuscript until my first grandchild was born twenty years later. Those intervening years were filled with all the joys and challenges of raising four children. My husband and I travelled overseas in the early years of our marriage doing missionary work and working full time with a local world-wide ministry. There wasn't much time to write in those days, but this book is finally complete. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
