Though the Scars are Great, Jesus is the Great Healer

Scars are symbols of hurt, rejection, disappointment and a broken heart these are scars that mortal men has laid upon us, but knowing because of Jesus’ 39 stripes that He took for us; we are healed because of those stripes and we can overcome any circumstance or situation that has or will occur in our lives because He is able to do exceeding, abundantly, above all we may think or ask in His name. The 39 stripes symbolize the scars that He took for us on Calvary and knowing that we are healed because of those stripes and the blood that he shed for us; though the scars are great; Jesus is the Great Healer.

About the Author

Evangelist Lekeshia Bonner is the founder and director of Miracle Resource Center Prayer Line in Selma, Alabama. God has called her there in order to spiritually, emotionally, and physically empower and inspire the people of God through love, support, and prayer with the written word of God.
