About the Book

People who are owned by bulldogs know what a special bond is formed with them. I am one of them. One cold autumn night a few months after my dad had passed, I was drawn to the brilliance of the moon....I went outside to look and there it was! A full moon with the bottom portion darkened by the earth's path in between it and the sun...the Bulldog Moon, surrounded by trillions of sparkling stars. I  knew I was not alone.....

Bulldog Moon is  about life, love, loss, and learning to live and love again. Something we will all face in our life times. Where we find our strength is as individual as we are. For me, it is to look to that Moon and sky to see all the sparkling eyes of the Angels looking down on us. Telling us a new day is coming....telling us to 'Never Give Up HOPE'.

I hope it can help you on your journey.

About the Author

Diane Mack lives in Southeastern Minnesota with her bulldog Mack (his name when she got him). Her stories are mostly moments of the heart, where an event, circumstance, or experience invoke an inspiration of words or music. Most are captured only on bits and pieces of paper that fill a file box. In the fall of 2003, after the sudden in the line of duty death of her volunteer firefighter father, Carl, she happened upon a group of folks known as 'Bulldoggers'. More than they can ever know, they helped her through this time of shock and grief. Here the words began, the inspiration came.

"Mack", as she is known to most, enjoys her family, life, nature, Mackie Boy, music and people, with some of those "bulldoggers" her closest friends. These friendships have led to a few incredible journeys made possible by "roadtrip" partner, Texas Judy.

  ........time for another one TX!
