How the Invisible Suzy Turned Amazing

  Chapter 1. Morning
    My name is Suzy.  I am eight years old, and I am invisible.  Not truly invisible; I just feel like it most of the time.  I have three older sisters and a dog named Kibble.  My sisters are always playing sports.
    My sister Debbie is sixteen years old and the captain of the cheerleading squad at school.  She is very popular; everyone loves her.  My sister Terry is thirteen and a great basketball player.  She is the leading scorer form her team.  And my sister Betty is twelve and the greatest swimmer in the school.  She has won about a hundred ribbons and trophies.  She is always winning something.
    The bad part is, I have to share a room with her.  Her ribbons and trophies are all over the room.  I am happy for her and I know she is proud.  I just wish I could have a trophy or a ribbon of my own.  My side of the room is empty and bare.
    I am dragged along to watch my sisters compete.  Mom says I am too young to stay at home by myself and to young to play sports like my sisters.  I just get to sit and watch as they play and have fun.  I hope and wish that someday they will watch me.
    At school, I do not have any friends.  The kids in my class do not even notice me.  I am not asked to play games at recess or to sit with anyone at lunch.  Most of the day, I just sit at my desk, dreaming.  I dream that someday I will be the star of something special.
