When the second half started, we did exactly what our coach said. We scored two more goals. This time, Raphael scored one goal (because Carlos played goalie during the second half) and I scored one more goal, as well. Our parents were very loud cheering for us and I could see the smiles on my Mom’s face with the great game we had.
Now our game is over. We won our first game by scoring six goals.
Nice!! Great!! Yes, we won but, more importantly, we learned a lot while playing our game.
We lined up on the middle of the field and shook hands with the players from the other team. Then we drove home to eat and rest after this full and exciting day of soccer.
