Julie stirred and rolled over in her bed on her back. Her eyelids fluttered and opened. The man was looking down at her. His hand came down over her mouth. The scream was stopped with the rough, smelly hand that covered her mouth fully. Her eyes peered through the dark trying to see the attacker. There was no light in the room, the TV was off. She couldn’t think. Why would he come back here? Why would Evan do this to her? She felt the dampness on her face. The hand over her nose and mouth held a cloth with some kind of sweet smelling liquid. The next breath took the strength out of her arms. She felt the tingling move from her fingers and toes throughout her body. She felt her body go limp.
The man covered her mouth with a piece of duct tape. She wanted to reach up and stop him, but her arms would not move. She could not lift them from the bed. He pulled her onto the floor and drug her by the arms into the closet. She tried to kick, but her legs would not respond. The man dumped her on the carpeted floor and gently closed the door behind them.
