From the time I was born up to the age of six, I was physically, sexually abused, neglected, abandoned, as well as psychologically abused. I only remember bits and pieces of my abuse by the hands of my mother, father, and several of my mother’s boyfriends. During that time, it was a roller coaster ride. Not only was I abused and abandoned but bounced between my mother and several foster homes across the state. A repeatedly back and forth game just likes a tennis ball during a tennis match. My mother was an alcoholic and drug addict and my father was an alcoholic.
My bedroom would be the basement and my dungeon (four cement walls and a cement floor.) The door to the basement mostly (99% of the time) locked at night. My bed was a frame with a mattress on it and only one white sheet to keep me warm. (To this day, I still have a hard time going down into basements or living in a house with a basement in it.) It was during this period that my life would become a nightmare lasting six long years. What you are about to read is just bits and pieces of the torment I went through while living with my mother and other parties involved.

About the Book
This is a story about a young child not only abused and battered but hated by his biological parents and his adopted father. As a result, he would turn away from his families, religion, and faith in God. He would grow to hate himself. He would grow up and push life to its limits and dance with the devil through alcohol, drugs, sex and suicide. It is about his search for his identity and purpose in life. Two things would keep him alive, one of them being the love of his older adopted sister. The child would go from being well to do financially to being poor, hungry, and homeless. He would face bankruptcy, mental illness, and poor health. He would see relationships come and go and three marriages end in divorce and the loss of custody of his children. His journey would take years to where he finally finds himself, returns to religion and finds his faith in God.
About the Author
Ronald Otis Johnson was born on November 19, in the year of 1960 in Billings, Montana. He was later adopted in October of 1966. He was raised in Helena, Montana were he lived for 14 years. He is a survivor of 18 years of child abuse. He is also a recovering alcoholic and drug addict. He has stayed away from drugs for 13 years and alcohol for 5 years. He is the father of 7 children; 6 living and one son that passed away at birth. He now resides in Butte, Montana after extensive travels throughout the U.S., Germany, Korea, and Africa. His next travel is in hopes of the Philippines. His favorite movies are the Green Berets, and the Titanic. His favorite music is the 60's, 70's, and some 80's music---easy listening, and rock-n-roll. His favorite quote is from Confucious: A foolish man is one who speaks, a wise man is one who listens.
