About the Author
This is a picture of me at a much younger age and as you can see I’m looking extremely glamorous lying next to, possibly, my two best friends in the whole world, Boots the Old English Sheep dog and ARTHUR, my Prince of Jack Russells. (Actually I think that both dogs look far more glamorous than I do). Yes dear reader, Arthur really did exist. He was the most extraordinary little character and we had a great life together which took us on a roller coaster ride full of fun and adventures, which I felt had to be written down after my poor little Arthur passed away at the age of eleven years old.
Now here I am at the ripe old age of forty one. I have three new canine friends, Emily, Charlie and Harry, (who all have a story of their own stored on my computer, just waiting to get out), two children called Joseph and Samuel and of course my wonderful husband Paul. We all live in a tiny little house situated in the mountains of Tenerife and when I am not writing books, I’m painting, sculpting, kickboxing, scuba diving, cleaning (well not much cleaning actually), cooking and playing on the sea in our boat, which I love to do.
I trained at Winchester School of Art in England as a fine artist and then worked in a prison teaching naughty fellows how to create their own inner worlds by using paint and sculpture. This was a very tiring job and I felt that I could only be of any use to these people for four rigourous years and then I decided that it was time to set sail across the sea to new horizons and so ended up in Tenerife. Here a lovely headmistress gave me a job as Artist in Residence at her school and now I give prívate art lessons to some very gifted children. So luckily my life is full of all of the things that I have ever wanted to do and this in my opinión is the most important lesson of life – Don’t hesítate just do it!
