About the Book
All teachers know every school day can bring different challenges, but all those challenges can be enlightening! This is a lighthearted, funny tale about a teacher who is suddenly greeted by canine students! The teacher introduces her class of 23 students and their variety of colors, shapes, and sizes. As all good tales have a moral, young and old everywhere will gain appreciation for diversity and embrace those differences with love!
**Illustrations are by Theodore Conrade, of Tuscon, Arizona. He brought to life a great tale of endearing and funny depictions utilizing the Canine Species! A great book for dog lovers!**
About the Author
"Anne Michaels" (aka: Sheri A. Saluto) currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia. Anne Michaels is the chosen pen name and role Sheri likes to use when writing Children's books. Sheri is wife to Matthew Saluto, and a mother to five children. She is a faithful Christian, teacher, world traveler, and professional writer. Beyond family being her largest passion, writing and education are what drive her each day. After obtaining her B.A. in Elementary Education, she served two years as a Teach for America teacher in Hawaii, teaching Language Arts and Social Studies at a severely under-resourced school. The experiences with the school systems in Hawaii led Sheri to return to the mainland with the pursuit to tutor struggling kids with reading and writing and she then obtained her Masters in Education, from Marylhurst University, in May of 2012. You can follow Sheri's blog, www.southernsugarberries.blogspot.com, and keep a look out for the development of the second Children's Book in the Dog City Series, "Look in the Mirror Anson." All of Anne Michaels creations in the Dog City Series are illustrated by Theodore Conrade, who has a humorous wit and ability to bring characters to life and assist in teaching children lessons in character.
