EQUATION
Apart we are two,
Together we are one,
You are the missing piece that makes me whole,
A part of my nature; a slice of my soul.
You are a branch from my tree,
I am you and you are me.
Without you, a part of me is gone,
You are the words, I am the song.
We are seperate from the rest of the nation
and together we complete the Equation.

About the Book
Bricks Of Illusion is a moving collection of the best of my poetry to date. The poems cover many subjects and emotions and have been highly praised. If you love poetry that makes you think and reaches your mind, heart and soul then this is the collection for you.
About the Author
I have always been a keen writer and especially love writing poetry as it is the ideal way to express emotions and opinions in moving verses. I have fought a battle with depression for most of my life and this is reflected in some of my work and has given me a strong empathy towards other people and their feelings. I have won certificates and awards for my work and been published in anthologies numerous times. I was featured in a local newspaper whilst I was at secondary school because of my poetic talent and my work has been highly commended and brought pleasure to many people. I have many other interests including drama, dance and music and im both a nature and animal lover. I live in the quiet countryside with my husband and two lovely children (and various pets) but I also enjoy being loud, lively and sociable too.
