About the Author

Old Man in the Shadows is based on the true life story of a woman of extraordinary courage and determination.  Linda Branch grew up in a small village in New Mexico.  Her early life and experiences as a victim of child abuse allow us a glimpse into a terrifying world that most of us will never know.  With a distinct style, an exceptional eye for detail and a keen insight into the people and events around her, Linda has written a compelling story that will not allow you to put her book down until you have read every page.  A powerful advocate for the prevention of child abuse, Linda has shared her experience with the world in the hope that all who learn her story will find the courage and inspiration to triumph over the hardships and difficulties of their lives. “I want everyone to know that no matter what they face; God can help them to find the courage and determination to go on and to see their dreams come true.”
