In a log cabin along a cobblestone path, there lives a little girl named Lucy. She loves the outdoors. One of her favorite things is to camp in her pink tent in her back yard. One fall evening while Lucy was camping with her Daddy, she looked up and saw a bright light shoot across the sky. “Daddy! The lights in the sky are moving!” said Lucy with wide eyes.

About the Book
What is a shooting star? Lucy explores the night sky and learns about different star formations in our galaxy. This book teaches kids to be thoughtful about nature and incorporate those thoughts into eveyday life. This is the second of a Celestial Trilogy for children.
About the Author
Carrie Yakola has admired the moon and stars throughout her life. She's lived and worked in Oregon, Colorado, South Korea, Austria, Germany, the Netherlands, Illinois, Indiana, New York and Maine. In her travels, she's learned that certain things transcend culture - children and nature being two good examples! She currently lives in Rye, NH, with her husband, daughter and dog.
