Don't Give Up On Love

About the Book

The book that you are about to read are actual events that happen in my life. Only the names of the people  have been changed. When I was growing up as a girl, I had dreams of getting a good job and marring a wonderful man and raising a family. And live the fairy tale of living happily ever after. But my life did not take that route.. Instead, I had a whirlwind of marriages gone wrong. Some women, especially single women would ask me what I did to get all those men to marry me. My responds to them was nothing.  I met my true love when I was going through a terrible divorce from my second husband. I met Leroy when I was in a difficult situation. My ex-husband played around on me and committed adultery. That is why I filed for divorce. And the bad thing about the whole ordeal is that he really did not love me and he did not want anybody else to love me either. I was just too blind at the time to see. What really made matters worst is, I was still very much in love with my ex-husband. Even though I had filed for a divorce. To make a long story short it ended up breaking Leroy's heart. Therefore, I ended up marring my ex-husband a second time. And that marriage was an even bigger mistake than before. The marriage did not last over two months. But it left a big scare in my life. That is when I went into a whirlwind of marriages that followed. I did not see Leroy until thirteen years later. Leroy went on with his life and married a woman and moved to San Diego, Ca. to start their new life together.

About the Author

I was born in a small town of Longview, Tx. To the parents of Thomas and Linda George. I met the man that would be the father of my two children when I was in Junior High School. Even though at that particular time we were much too young to get married. After graduating high school, I got a scholarship in Aerospace. However, my stepfather talked me out of it Because he did not think, it was right for me. Later that same year. Lew and I married when I was only eighteen years of age and he was only nineteen. We could not get pregnant after we married for four years.Somehow, we managed to have two beautiful children a son and a daughter. My children names are Lew and Detra whom I love very much. Meanwhile, after being married for over eleven and a half years. The marriage ended in Divorce. I worked just to make a living for my two children and myself. During that time, I married several times. Which all ended in Divorce. I remained single for four years. When my true love that I thought I had lost for good stepped back into my life. We dated for a year and we had a June wedding. All my life I have always wanted to write a book. Never the less I could not find the courage to do so. But God had other plans for me.  One day, I was inspired to give my book a chance. After touching the keys on my computor, words just began to flow. Just like God did not let me give up on my dreams. I did not give up on love either. My husband and I have been happily married for several years.
