About the Book

A WORD FROM THE AUTHOR

BEFORE READING THIS BOOK REPEAT MY MOTTO: WHERE THERE IS HOPE THERE IS CHANGE. I CARE AND I CAN CHANGE. MY GREATEST POWER IS CHANGING THE WAY I THINK.

ALSO REPEAT THIS PASSAGE: I WILL OPEN MY MIND TO CLEAR THINKING. I WILL NOT ALLOW DARK THOUGHTS TO RULE MY LIFE. I AM WHAT I SAY I AM. I CAN DO WHAT I SAY I CAN DO. I AM UNSTOPPABLE, UNMOVABLE, AND UNDEFEATED. I WILL CHANGE MY THINKING AND I WILL CHANGE MY WORLD.  -----Audrey Vines

About the Author

AUDREY VINES is the daughter of the Freeman and Arie Vines.  She resides in the town of Farmville, NC.  She has four beautiful children and five grandchildren. Writing is one of her hobbies. She has been writing almost all her life. Writing her thesis in graduate school prompted her to write this book. She has more books to be published which include children stories and inspirational sayings that have helped her through the rough times in her life. Audrey’s greatest accomplishments include knowing Jesus Christ as her personal savior, author, and entrepreneur, writing a thesis on African American Family Strengths, and singing professionally with the Renowned Vines Sisters for over 40 years. She graduated from Pitt Community College with an Associates degree in Early Childhood Education. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Community Services where she graduated as Magna Cum Laude and a Master’s in Child Development/Family Relations from East Carolina University. Audrey holds a certification in Family Life Education and is pursuing a second Master’s in Adult Education. Audrey Vines is a member of the Golden Key Honor Society, Pinnacle and the NCFR.  She was chosen Who’s Who among Entrepreneurs in 1999, received the Governor Hunt award in 2000 for outstanding community services, and hosts her own weekly radio show.  She is employed as a Teacher for Pitt County Schools. Change is difficult but if you put the principles to work that I talked about in this book you will be a better person to yourself and others. Change your thinking and the world around you will be a better place to live in.
