Simple Seeds

About the Book

This book is an attemp to free some of my inner thoughts, concerns, fears and feelings, free like the “Simple Seeds” falling out of a farmer's hand sewn over the fertile soil of imagination where new ideas and ideals are born.  Many of these poems are structured around happy times, love and family but some would explore the darker aspects of life where we try to find answers to the unanswerable questions.  Treating my themes mostly with a hidden smile, the book has an optimistic view about life, even if sometimes the mood seems gloomy.

About the Author

Since an early age I was attracted to literature and arts but the conditions following WWII never agreed with my inclination and desires to perfect my writing skills. Later, many years after, when the impact of immigration to the new world settled, I started to feel more confident with our new life and poems began pouring out slowly, like drops of honey in celebration of our freedom.  Every event, birthday, anniversary was an occasion to write a new poem, in gratitude of our change of destiny and an impulse to inspire others to achieve a better life.
