ROSES IN THE WIND
Roses blowing in the wind
Fluttering here, and there
Roses bloom, and roses fade
But only in despair.
They don't really have a care
Only know that they're here
With such a sweet smell of fragrance.
But just like spring also comes fall
And once again the roses fade, and fall
Seasons come, and seasons go
Life is short, and life is sweet
But just like the roses
We too must finally fade.
But still we leave a sweet smell
Of fragrance behind
Like roses blowing in the wind.

About the Book
These poems tell a story of my life. The good times, the bad times, the ups and downs. A journey from the time I was small till now. A journey of my faith and sorrow in my life,
A story about my feelings I hide inside. Of the trials, and mountains I had to climb, and overcome, a window to my Soul.

About the Author
Patricia Turner Pitts has lived in Mississippi all her life. She is the 4th of 5 children. By profession Patricia owns a tax office. She resides in Kosciusko Mississippi with her husband Edward Pitts. She has two daughters Angie Cole, and April Pitts and a granddaughter Loren Steed Patricia wrote her first Poem in June 2004 Titled Witches. Which won the Prestigious Editor's choice award for outstanding achievement in poetry presented by? The International Library of Poetry and the Poem Witches was also published along with four other poems she wrote by the Library of Poetry. Mrs. Pitts was also awarded the 2006 Poetry Ambassador Award by the International Library of Poetry and is a member of Poet Fellowship. Patricia hopes that her book of Poems will bring hope and touch the lives of everyone who reads it Dear Patricia Pitts, Your poem The Kitty Cat Song has won the Editor’s choice Award and Poet Fellowship award. The Poet Fellowship is an elite group of international writers who share a common passion for writing.
